Fierce Festival is annual international festival of live art that takes place across Birmingham. Working with Helen Stallard Communications, I undertook the regional press for the 2012 festival and marketing for the 2013 festival.
Marketing activities undertaken for the 2013 festival:
• Promoted festival events and strands through social media networks, festival blog, mailing list and listing sites. Liaised with festival venues, sponsors and partner organisations in order for the festival to be promoted through their channels.
• Liaised with the designers in order to design e-flyers, flyers and festival brochure to promote the festival.
• Coordinated distribution of print regionally and nationally.
In 2012, Fierce Festival regional press coverage included: BBC Midlands Today, ITV Central News, BBC Radio WM, Birmingham Mail, Birmingham Post, Sunday Mercury, Brumnotes and Express and Star.
