Love Stirchley More
From December 2012 to February 2013, I worked again with community interest company Place Prospectors on their Love Stirchley More project. Taking place around Valentine’s Day, it was a fun festival of art, commerce and love celebrating the Stirchley area of Birmingham. Temporary artworks, events and performances were placed around the area raising the profile of Stirchley and aimed to link business with the local community.
I implemented a press campaign to promote the festival to a mainly local and regional but also a national audience.
Coverage included Birmingham Mail, BBC Radio WM, Area Culture Guide, What’s On Magazine and Emerald Street.
