The Rootless Forest
From August to October 2012 and working with Helen Stallard Communications, I supported the press campaign for artist Beth Derbyshire on her Rootless Forest project. The piece was a mobile artwork comprising of a mini forest made of real trees on a converted canal hopper. It toured the canals of Birmingham and the Black Country.
The Rootless Forest received coverage from three main groups:
- Specialist arts and culture press
- Regional West Midlands media
- Boating press
Coverage included: The Big Issue, The Art Newspaper, Art Info, Culture 24, Aesthetica, Design Boom, This Is Tomorrow, BBC Midlands Today, BBC Radio WM, Birmingham Mail and Sunday Mercury.
